Giving Tuesday

Dear Friend of Twitchy Woman,

Thank you for your continued support and participation for over 10 years of Twitchy Woman.  We have all shared many experiences with each other, growing and changing as our needs have changed.  We have found not only the mutual support, but the power of a community to teach, advise, encourage and lean on each other.  What began as an accidental necessity during the pandemic has evolved and changed, just as our lives have evolved and changed in ways we never could have imagined.

Each one of us faces different challenges from Parkinson’s Disease.  Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been living with PD for many years, or whether you are a caregiver, I hope that Twitchy Woman has helped you on this journey.  Your commitment and your resilience are a collective inspiration to all of us.

Twitchy Woman is mostly self-funded.  While we and our enormous staff (i.e., Mr. Twitchy and a part-time student intern) do not need the funds, it would be nice (and somewhat ego-fulfilling) to move closer to breaking even.  Through your generosity, we can continue to provide our Sunday Morning webinars, chat groups, mentoring program and needed resources to empower our community to thrive.

Please consider a donation to help us continue our work together. Donations can be made online through our fiscal partner Parkinson’s Wellness Fund* at  https://givebutter.com/twitchywoman

(If you prefer to pay by check, Venmo or Zelle you may contact me directly.)

Thank you for your participation, support, generosity, compassion, and commitment to the mission of Twitchy Woman.  It is true that, Together We Do Better.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Sharon Krischer

Clinical Trials Corner

SEPTEMBER 2025

I’ve been hesitant to feature new clinical trials as a few that I had on my list to include in future columns have either been removed from the site or marked as withdrawn. Keeping my fingers crossed that the trials I feature continue to recruit and maintain their funding. Click here for the rest of the report from Jen

Thank You!

All Twitchy Women programs are free to all who participate. However, they are not without cost. It takes resources to continue our work and we cannot do it without your help. Through our partnership with the Parkinson’s Wellness Fund, those who want to provide support can do so. Thank you to all of you who have contributed. It is really appreciated.
