January, 2026 with Twitchy Woman

Mark your calendars for these 2 events.

Laughing at YOPD

Next Sunday, January 11, 2026 @1:00 PM ET, 10:00 AM PT

with Jeremy Moody

Jeremy is a writer, storyteller, and recovering academic whose music career was cut short by Young Onset Parkinson’s. He has leaned on his experience giving lectures in courses such as Life, Death, and Meaning to tell his story with an authentic voice with humor, blunt honesty, perspective, and vulnerability. He is currently based in LA where he performs stand-up comedy (or as he calls it “fall-down comedy”) and at storyteller mics around town. He has written a television pilot inspired by his story and is completing an autobiographical solo stage show, Them’s the Shakes: Life, Love, and Parkinson’s Disease.

When you register, please select Twitchy Woman for your organization. Let us know that you have registered so that we can include you in any Twitchy Woman activities. We will schedule a Zoom meeting in April about what to expect when you get there. Alisa Huntington will be running our What’s App group. Contact her at alisahuntington@me.com to be included.

We are also planning to have a reception either before or after the opening program to introduce our grant recipients to everyone. We may also have a table in the resource area that will be our home base during the Congress, where you can meet up with others from our group. If you want to help plan the reception or spend an hour or two volunteering at our table, please email me at twitchywoman18@gmail.com.

Happy New Year!

Clinical Trials Corner

SEPTEMBER 2025

I’ve been hesitant to feature new clinical trials as a few that I had on my list to include in future columns have either been removed from the site or marked as withdrawn. Keeping my fingers crossed that the trials I feature continue to recruit and maintain their funding. Click here for the rest of the report from Jen

Thank You!

All Twitchy Women programs are free to all who participate. However, they are not without cost. It takes resources to continue our work and we cannot do it without your help. Through our partnership with the Parkinson’s Wellness Fund, those who want to provide support can do so. Thank you to all of you who have contributed. It is really appreciated.
