Meet Twitchy Woman

Sharon Krischer was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2009. She has since become an advocate for men and women affected by the disease to find a way to move on.

Twitchy Woman began as a way to exchange ideas and solutions with other whose lives have been affected. It has been recognized by Everyday Health, Healthline, Stanford University and more as one of the top Parkinson’s blogs to follow.

Sharon uses daily exercise as a key component for her to live with Parkinson’s.  She plays tennis (badly), attends yoga and boxing classes and travels around the world.

Sharon lives in Beverly Hills, CA with her very supportive husband, Joel. They have three daughters and four grandchildren.

A Note To My Readers

I love to see your comments and get your emails as we share our collective experiences. But based on a couple of private questions from some of you, remember, I am just a lay person and a patient like the rest of you. For medical and similar advice, you need to talk to your own doctor

Your Support is appreciated

All Twitchy Women programs are free to all who participate. However, they are not without cost. It takes resources to continue our work and we cannot do it without your help. Through our partnership with the Parkinsons Wellness Fund, those who want to provide support can do so. Thank you to all of you who have contributed. It is really appreciated.

Twitchy Women partners with the Parkinson’s Wellness Fund to ensure we have the resources to offer peer support for women with Parkinson’s.
