Back home!

There’s no place like home

Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz

After 3 weeks of travel we have finally returned home.  Mr. Twitchy and I have occasionally taken a 3 week trip before, and every time we swear that we won’t go away as long then next time.  After 3 weeks of living out of suitcases, we don’t remember what clothes are still passably clean.  We definitely have lost track of the days.  We have to look at our watches to remember not just what time it is, but what day and date.  It can be disorienting at times, especially because we only get bits and pieces of what is going on in the world outside of us.

We find the sport scores on line, but often a day late because of the time change.  We know that Putin is still making war with the Ukraine, but haven’t heard much about the details.  And the weather seems to always be a surprise.

Here are some photos from the rest of our trip.

What are you grateful for?

Next week is Thanksgiving in the United States. For my annual Thanksgiving post, I would love to hear from you about what you are grateful for this year? It has been a tough 3 years for all of us, but there have been some silver linings. If you would like to share what you are grateful for, please send me an email by Tuesday, November 22, so that I can include it.

Have a great weekend!

A Note To My Readers

I love to see your comments and get your emails as we share our collective experiences. But based on a couple of private questions from some of you, remember, I am just a lay person and a patient like the rest of you. For medical and similar advice, you need to talk to your own doctor
